I think that this project was a good thing to do because it used the knowledge that I've gained over this semester and put it into an actual piece. I am proud of my work and happy to share it with you.

BETHANY HAMILTON; MI FRIDA
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
For this project we were required to study the artist Frida Kahlo and use inspiration from one of her paintings to create our own piece. I decided that I liked the idea of Bethany Hamilton. She is inspiring because she was injured doing what she loves and carried on doing it. Frida had many injuries during her short life of 47 years, but she managed to make the best of it by painting her problems. We were to create any piece of art from PhotoShop to hand sketched and make our Frida with an object or animal of a great significance to them. We also wrote a 3 paragraph essay about our Frida. This project was fun and worth doing. |
